Amina, tattoo artist at KAZENTATTOO, Los Angeles

AminaFine Line & Minimalism Tattoo Artist in Los Angeles

Amina works small and precise. Delicate script on the hand, jewellery-like ornament — an anklet of rosary beads with a crucifix that reads as real jewellery on the skin — and small symbolic pieces: a hundred-dollar bill, a geometric heart with red accents, a single flower stem.

Her shading is fine stipple and dotwork rather than solid greywash, which keeps everything light. She also builds larger fine-line compositions, including a full forearm of Egyptian iconography — Anubis, the Eye of Horus, hieroglyph blocks and an hourglass — drawn entirely in thin line.

Best suited to: lettering and script, delicate ornament, small first tattoos, and fine-line sleeves.
