    Marrie builds compositions rather than single motifs. Her work combines fine line with sacred geometry: seed-of-life mandalas, dotted orbits and grids, an anatomical heart, praying hands with a rose, a Vitruvian figure, moon phases and thin radiating rays.

    She works down the length of a limb, stacking symbols into one vertical composition, and shades with dotwork so the piece stays graphic and light. Her Egyptian sleeve — Anubis, the scales of Ma'at weighing the heart, the Eye of Horus, ankh, scarab and hieroglyph blocks — is drawn like an engraving.
